As a Biological Laboratory Technician at AaviGen GmbH, you will play a vital role in advancing gene therapy platforms for cardiovascular diseases. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting a wide range of biochemical, molecular, and cell biology experiments, including nucleic acid and protein extraction, cloning, Western blotting, and mammalian cell culture. You will also be responsible for the production, purification, and characterization of recombinant Adeno-associated viruses (AAV). Beyond experimental work, you will manage laboratory logistics, maintain sample banks, and ensure meticulous documentation of all research findings.
