Job Summary

As an Engineer for Cabin Systems & Avionics, you will play a pivotal role in the development of safety-critical hardware for the aerospace and defense sector. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements, conducting concept development, circuit design, calculations, and simulations. You will work within interdisciplinary and agile teams to manage the product lifecycle from the concept phase through certification and into serial production. Additionally, you will be responsible for the integration, commissioning, and verification of hardware components, as well as creating aviation-specific documentation and supporting environmental qualification processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a modern industrial environment with a 35-hour work week, flexible working hours, and the potential for a permanent transition to the client's core staff.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development of electronic components
  • Initial professional experience in the design of hardware applications, ideally in safety-critical aviation environments

Languages

German (Fluent)

  • Work permit for Germany required; location in Überlingen; 35-hour work week; mobile working options available.
