Job Summary

As a Scientific Staff Member (IT and Infrastructure) at the Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG), you will lead the 'Scientific Computing and Infrastructure' unit, managing a team of seven in IT administration and support. Your day-to-day responsibilities include acting as a data architect to design and maintain the institute's information systems, managing enterprise architecture by modeling interfaces between scientific applications, and overseeing quality management for all internal and external data products. You will represent the BfG in federal administrative committees and coordinate scientific data management across departments.
