Job Summary
As an IT Security Specialist at Klinikum Dortmund, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a new 'IT Security Operations' team. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the administration, operation, and continuous development of critical security systems, including firewalls, SIEM, NDR, EDR, and IAM solutions. You will lead and control security-focused projects, integrate new technologies, and collaborate closely with an external Managed SOC provider to analyze and mitigate security vulnerabilities. This position is unique because it directly links IT availability and security to patient safety within a large-scale hospital environment. You will work in a complex technical setting, navigating regulatory requirements like KRITIS and NIS2. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable qualification such as IT Specialist or IT Operative Professional.
