Job Summary

As a Materials Tester in the Structural Laboratory, you will play a vital role in supporting a leading aerospace company in Augsburg. Your daily responsibilities will involve the precision cutting and preparation of samples, including sawing, bonding, and pressing. You will be responsible for instrumenting test components and performing a variety of standardized mechanical and thermal tests, such as tensile, compression, and shear strength tests, as well as thermal analysis using DMA and DSC techniques. Additionally, you will assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment and contribute to the creation of technical documentation and test instructions. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester or Chemical Laboratory Technician.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in laboratory work and laboratory technology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in measurement technology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical documentation.
  • Practical experience with mechanical testing procedures and testing machines.
