Job Summary
This role involves providing essential technical support for teaching and laboratory exercises within the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining laboratory settings, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and providing first- and second-level support during teaching sessions. A key aspect of the position is managing the faculty's hardware and software infrastructure, overseeing the procurement of medical and nursing consumables, and assisting with the economic and organizational planning of the teaching labs, including budget management and needs analysis. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in biomedical, nursing, or engineering fields who possesses a strong aptitude for technical systems and a commitment to supporting practical education. You will work closely with faculty staff to ensure the smooth operation of medical and health-related academic modules.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in a biomedical, nursing, or engineering-related field, or completed vocational training in the healthcare sector with a strong interest in technical support.
Experience
- Professional experience in a biomedical, nursing, or health-related field
- Experience with technical infrastructure or laboratory equipment management
- Experience in organizational planning or cost management is highly valued
