Job Summary
Join the Center for IT and Digitalization at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences as an IT Infrastructure and Systems Administrator. In this permanent, full-time role, you will be responsible for the administration and operation of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Entra, and Exchange. Your day-to-day work involves providing 2nd and 3rd-level support, managing storage and backup solutions, and overseeing the rollout and administration of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in IT systems integration and is eager to maintain a secure and modern university IT environment. This position is open to both experienced professionals and career starters who are motivated to continuously learn and grow within a collaborative, service-oriented team. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field; OR completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) with relevant further education (e.g., IT Project Manager).
Experience
- Professional experience in IT systems administration preferred

- Experience with IT project management is considered an asset
