Job Summary
This role involves performing non-destructive testing (NDT), with a primary focus on radiographic testing (RT) within a prominent shipbuilding and yacht construction environment in Bremen. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting weld connections, including butt and fillet welds, as well as testing safety-critical components such as transport eyes and piping systems. Daily tasks include conducting inspections in challenging environments like confined spaces and at heights, evaluating results against DIN EN ISO 9712 standards, and maintaining precise documentation and inspection protocols. You will work closely with production, welding supervision, and quality assurance teams to ensure structural integrity. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, Industrial Mechanic, Construction Mechanic, Metalworker, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in materials testing or metalworking (Industrial Mechanic, Construction Mechanic, or Metalworker)
- Practical experience in NDT/Radiographic testing according to DIN EN ISO 9712
- Previous experience in the shipbuilding industry is preferred

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights (scaffolding/sections) is required. This is a temporary staffing role with the explicit goal of permanent takeover by the client.
