As an IT Operations Specialist based in Bremen, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of complex IT infrastructures. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring servers and systems, managing Active Directory domains, overseeing virtualization environments (VMware, Nutanix), and administering Citrix platforms. You will also lead IT technicians, handle help desk escalations, and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure service reliability. A key part of the role involves developing IT policies, SLAs, and OLAs, as well as managing software updates and security patches via WSUS and Trellix. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, IT System Technology, or a similar field.
Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Active Directory, Windows Server, MS-SQL, and virtualization technologies (Citrix, VMware).
- Professional experience in managing storage systems (NetApp, Q-SAN).
- Experience in leading IT technicians or subcontractors and managing vendor contracts.
- Experience in developing IT policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
