Job Summary
In this role, you will join an interdisciplinary research team at the Psychiatric Clinic, focusing on experimental basic research with clinical relevance. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting experiments in cell and molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and histology. You will also support animal experimental work, manage clinical study samples, and oversee laboratory organization, including inventory management. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring trainees and students. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MTA) or Biological Laboratory Technician (BTA), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in an experimental or life science laboratory environment
- Experience in supporting laboratory organization and sample management
- Experience in mentoring or supervising trainees and students
Languages
Additional
- FELASA-B certificate for animal testing is considered an advantage. This position is a maternity leave replacement (initially until December 8, 2026) with a planned extension for parental leave.
