Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to manage organizational fire safety for the Upper Bavaria district. As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will act as the primary point of contact for authorities and the fire department, ensuring the implementation and monitoring of all fire protection measures. Your day-to-day responsibilities include advising leadership and staff, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and organizing fire safety training sessions. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Safety Management or Safety Engineering. Certification as a Fire Protection Officer, fire service training, or qualification as a Specialist for Protection and Security is required (or the willingness to acquire such certification).

Experience

  • Professional experience in safety management or safety technology
  • Experience in public administration and interacting with authorities preferred
  • Practical experience in fire safety planning and the creation of fire protection concepts for new and existing buildings preferred

Additional

  • Valid Class B/3 driver's license required. Willingness to conduct on-site inspections. Must be able to travel to locations that may not be fully accessible. Permanent, part-time contract (19.5 hours/week).
