Job Summary
As the Head of Quality Control, you will lead the quality control department at our Eislingen/Fils facility, overseeing both disciplinary and professional development for your team within the operational laboratory. You will be responsible for ensuring that all activities align with quality management, safety, and industry-specific environmental standards. Your day-to-day will involve optimizing laboratory workflows, managing the continuous improvement process (CIP), and handling customer audits. You will also manage product formulations within the ERP system and oversee the generation of 8D reports for deviations. This role requires a strong technical background in chemistry or chemical engineering, combined with proven leadership experience. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards for innovation and safety in waste processing and lubricant production. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, or advanced training as a Chemical Technician (or equivalent qualification).
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable leadership position
- Proven experience in quality management and quality assurance methodologies
- Experience in production control and technical development of lubricants
- Experience in managing operational workflows and laboratory projects
