Job Summary

The City of Kelheim is seeking a State-Certified Civil Engineering Technician to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in the maintenance, renovation, and new construction of municipal engineering structures, including bridges and other civil works. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve project management, planning, and overseeing tenders, as well as providing support to the head of the construction technology department during large-scale projects. You will utilize CAD software for planning and specialized AVA programs for tendering, awarding, and billing construction services. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a solid foundation in German construction law and regulations (VOB, BayBO, BauGB, HOAI). Required Skills

Education

State-certified technician degree (Staatlich geprüfter Bautechniker) in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Structural Engineering.

Experience

  • Experience with public procurement processes and construction law regulations

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional
