Job Summary

This role within the Ministry for Home Affairs, Municipalities, Construction and Digitalization of North Rhine-Westphalia focuses on the strategic advancement of Open Government initiatives. The successful candidate will manage the technical development of the 'Beteiligung NRW' portal, coordinate Open Government Partnership (OGP) measures, and oversee the state's IT training program. Daily responsibilities include managing external service providers, controlling budget resources, representing the state in various committees and working groups, and preparing professional briefings and speeches for senior leadership. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in economics, law, or IT who is passionate about digital transformation, citizen participation, and open data. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Economics, Law, Information Technology, or a comparable field, or admission to modular qualification for career path group 2 (LVO NRW).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the steering and coordination of IT projects
  • Professional experience in managing external service providers
  • Experience in conceptual work and structured project management
