Job Summary
This role involves leading an IT project focused on integrating new software components within the existing municipal financial system, infoma newSystem kommunal. The Project Manager will be responsible for defining and documenting functional requirements, meticulously planning and overseeing work packages, and coordinating contributions from various stakeholders including Region Hannover, HannIT, and informa. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, experience with ERP system implementation, and a solid understanding of budgeting and accounting principles. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of public administration within the Hannover region, ensuring efficient financial operations and a modern IT landscape.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor's level) in Economics, Administration, Administrative Informatics, Computer Science, or Business Informatics; OR qualification for career group 2, first entry-level, General Services (e.g., Diploma in Public Administration, Bachelor in General Administration, or Bachelor in Administrative Business Administration); OR successfully completed Second Employee Examination.
Experience
- Professional experience in project management
- Experience in the introduction of ERP systems (desirable)
- Knowledge in budgeting and accounting (desirable)
- Alternatively, at least twenty years of professional experience with an employer covered by TVöD or comparable collective agreement, or another public law employer

- Temporary employment until December 31, 2027, part-time at 50%.
