As a Technical Estimator specializing in security systems, you will play a pivotal role in the project lifecycle by preparing precise cost calculations and detailed proposals. Your daily responsibilities include assessing material, labor, and equipment costs, evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids, and optimizing cost structures for projects involving fire alarm, intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems. You will collaborate closely with sales, project management, and technical departments to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and refining calculation databases and price lists, as well as participating in contract negotiations and order processing.
