Job Summary
As a Technical Operations Manager at our 12 MW biomass power plant in Hamburg-Lohbrügge, you will play a pivotal role in the energy transition. Your daily responsibilities include operating, monitoring, and controlling the power plant and auxiliary systems using modern control technology. You will conduct regular inspections, perform maintenance and repairs, and manage troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will coordinate fuel supply, ash disposal, and oversee external contractors during maintenance projects. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring regulatory compliance and emissions standards. You will join an experienced, motivated team and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training in an electromechanical field (e.g., Technician, Master Craftsman, Electrician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Engineer, or Power Plant Operator/Boiler Operator).
Experience
- Professional experience in the operation of thermal power plants, ORC turbines, or combined heat and power (CHP) units.
- Experience in managing complex process engineering plants or energy centers.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate external contractors and maintenance activities.
- Experience in troubleshooting and fault analysis within industrial or electrical environments.

- Valid driver's license (Class B), willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call duty, residence within a short commuting distance to the power plant in Hamburg-Lohbrügge, and optional crane operator license.
