Job Summary
As a PLC Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation for renowned OEMs and special machinery manufacturers. Your primary responsibilities involve the development and optimization of PLC modules specifically for crane control systems. A key technical focus of this role is the migration of ABB AC500 control systems from version V2 to V3, which includes project migration, updating libraries, and managing data structures for external interfaces. Beyond core programming, you will be responsible for system validation, comprehensive testing, and the design and execution of simulations, including the creation of technical documentation. This position is ideal for an automation professional who values technical growth and professional development. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree or technician certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming
- Experience with ABB Automation Builder, CODESYS, and IEC 61131 preferred
- Experience in software migration and system validation
Languages
Additional
- Valid work permit for Germany required.
