Job Summary

As a Technical Facility Manager at the BMW Wackersdorf plant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous, trouble-free operation of building and energy systems across a massive 550,000 m² site. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing specialized trades such as plumbing, water supply, roofing, flooring, and fire suppression systems. You will oversee legal compliance, strategic planning, and the operational execution of maintenance and optimization projects. You will act as the primary interface between planning offices, contractors, and production stakeholders, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will handle third-party tenant billing and support facility documentation using CAD and SAP systems. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer or facility management professional who thrives in a high-stakes automotive manufacturing environment, offering the stability of a permanent contract with a global industry leader.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Energy Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facility Management, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the automotive sector or building operations
  • Experience in managing technical trades such as plumbing, water supply, and fire safety systems
  • Experience in project planning and operational oversight of facility maintenance
