Job Summary

As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Corporate Technology department, focusing on the design and realization of electronic assemblies for embedded systems and advanced camera technology, including matrix and line-scan cameras. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the entire R&D lifecycle: conducting feasibility studies, drafting technical specifications, designing schematics, overseeing PCB layouts, and managing system testing and commissioning. You will collaborate closely with mechanical engineering teams to optimize housing concepts, thermal management, and manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a structured, R&D-focused environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects from conception to final qualification. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Professional experience in analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience in embedded image processing and circuit simulation
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces, computer-on-modules, and CMOS sensors
  • Experience in hardware-level programming for ARM-based microcontrollers
