In this role, you will work within a research-focused environment at VEGA, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sensor technology. You will focus on the development of new physical concepts, specifically within pressure sensor technology, and evaluate their feasibility for industrial applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing innovative sensor systems, planning and conducting experiments, building prototypes, and analyzing experimental results. You will actively engage in technology scouting, monitor market trends, and collaborate with external research institutions. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or PhD in Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
Experience
- Professional experience in sensor technology, ideally with a focus on pressure sensors.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in printing technologies such as screen printing or additive manufacturing processes.
- Ideally, initial exposure to industry-related research environments such as automotive, aerospace, or academic research institutions.
