Job Summary
As a Digitalization Officer for the municipality of Nottuln, you will lead the planning, steering, and implementation of a holistic digitalization strategy. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve identifying digitalization potential, driving the digitization of business processes, and acting as the central point of contact for all digitalization matters. You will manage modernization projects, including Document Management Systems (DMS) and Microsoft 365, while exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence. This role requires close collaboration with department heads and the executive board to support administrative modernization. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Public Administration, Business Informatics, E-Government, IT Project Management, Digital Media, or completion of the Administrative Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II).
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or IT-related project management
- Experience in agile project and process management is desirable
- Experience in conceptual work within modernization projects
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and stakeholder coordination

- Must hold a qualification for the senior non-technical administrative service or equivalent IT-related degree. Must be eligible to work in Germany. High level of communicative competence, moderation, and negotiation skills required.
