As the Team Lead for the District Heating Network at Stadtwerke Hürth, you will play a pivotal role in the transformation and strategic development of the local district heating infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading a team in both a professional and disciplinary capacity, overseeing network operations, maintenance planning, and optimizing technical and economic performance. You will manage complex projects, drive innovation by introducing new technologies, and act as the primary interface between heating generation, sales, and urban planning departments. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Supply Engineering, Energy Technology, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the operation of thermal engineering systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant technical regulations and standards
- Professional experience in technical and disciplinary leadership
- Practical experience in coordinating external service providers
- Experience in project steering and management
- Experience or strong affinity for energy transition and network expansion projects

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Position is subject to the TV-V collective bargaining agreement (EG 11). Work permit for Germany required.
