Job Summary
The City of Mühlacker is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join their Environment and Civil Engineering department, specifically within the Roads and Traffic division. In this full-time, permanent role, you will manage municipal civil engineering projects from initial planning and tendering to construction supervision and final accounting. You will be responsible for both the new construction and the renovation of urban roads, pathways, and engineering structures, acting as the primary project lead across all performance phases. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in civil engineering, proficiency in German construction regulations (VOB/HOAI), and a proactive, professional demeanor. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in planning, tendering, and construction supervision of municipal civil engineering projects is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing infrastructure projects across all performance phases.
- Proficiency in applying VOB (Construction Contract Procedures) and HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers).
