Job Summary
This role involves the independent project planning, programming, and development of PLC software, including safety controls, for industrial plants and machinery. The successful candidate will work with Siemens Simatic S7 V5.5 & TIA-Portal, develop Siemens visualization systems, and be responsible for commissioning machines and systems both in Emsdetten and at customer sites. Collaboration with other departments, programming and commissioning FANUC robots, and optimizing production processes with clients are also key responsibilities. This position is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in electrical or automation engineering, offering an unlimited contract and diverse, innovative projects.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or certified Electrical Technician / Automation Technician
Experience
- Professional experience in software development for machine and plant controls, including safety technology, drive technology, and robotics
- Experience in programming robot systems (FANUC R30iB control) is desirable
