Job Summary
As a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) at ASKA Biotech, you will play a vital role in our Immunoservices team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the development, optimization, production, and quality control of various immunoassays, such as ELISA, LIA, and Lateral Flow Assays. You will be responsible for measuring study samples, performing general laboratory analyses, preparing reagents, and ensuring equipment is monitored and maintained according to strict SOPs and ISO 13485 standards. This role requires meticulous documentation and active support in validation and qualification activities. We are looking for a candidate who is precise, structured, and proactive. This position is unique because it offers the opportunity to work in a growing biotech environment with flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and the chance to contribute significantly to the production of high-quality diagnostic and research tools.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), Laboratory Technician, or a degree in natural sciences with practical laboratory experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in laboratory work, specifically in the development, production, and quality control of immunoassays.
- Experience working with human biological samples.
- Experience working within regulated quality systems such as ISO 13485 or IVDR.

- Must be eligible to work in Germany. Experience with ISO 13485 and IVDR standards is highly preferred.
