Job Summary
As an Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer at the BioCampus MultiPilot (BMP) facility, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, installation, and operation of automated systems for this industrial biotechnology project. You will oversee quality assurance during the construction phase, ensure the stable operation of technical systems, and continuously optimize control processes. This position offers the unique opportunity to help shape a lighthouse project from the construction phase through to commissioning in 2027. You will work in a collaborative, innovative environment, supporting the technical leadership and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in electrical or automation engineering who is eager to contribute to sustainable industrial development.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Automation/Industrial Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics
- Professional experience in industrial I&C, process control, or PLC systems
- Experience with medium and low voltage systems is considered an advantage
