Job Summary

This role involves defining technical requirements for systems and individual equipment within military aircraft, with a strong focus on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). Key responsibilities include coordinating and reviewing detailed test specifications, approving and evaluating test plans, and actively participating in qualification measures related to EMC, lightning protection, nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NEMP), and nuclear hardening (NH). The engineer will also monitor EMC activities at equipment manufacturers, assess supplier test reports, and evaluate changes to aircraft and equipment concerning EMC, NH, electrical grounding, and lightning effects.
