Job Summary
As a Commercial Generalist reporting directly to the management, you will play a pivotal role in the financial and operational health of ETB GmbH, a specialized provider of vocational training for the railway sector. In this hands-on position, you will manage day-to-day financial and payroll accounting using DATEV, prepare documentation for annual financial statements, and track key performance indicators. Beyond core accounting, you will support liquidity planning, manage government funding processes (AZAV), and assist with HR and contract administration. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a small, owner-managed team environment where autonomy and pragmatic problem-solving are highly valued. You will act as a key support function to the leadership, ensuring smooth commercial operations while benefiting from a stable, permanent contract in a supportive, professional setting.
Required Skills
Education
Completed commercial or tax-related vocational training (e.g., Tax Clerk, Financial Accountant, or equivalent qualification).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in accounting and financial management.
- Demonstrated experience in handling payroll and financial bookkeeping.
- Proven ability to work independently in a commercial or tax-related administrative role.
- Experience in preparing documentation for external year-end financial audits.
