Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Sustainability & Climate Protection based in Bremen, you will play a pivotal role in guiding organizations toward climate neutrality. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing sustainability projects, overseeing project-related financial controlling, and navigating complex environmental policy issues with a focus on resource efficiency and green innovation. You will act as a key liaison, supporting and developing networks between businesses, policymakers, and public sector stakeholders. This role is ideal for a candidate with a background in environmental sciences or sustainability management who is eager to drive impactful change. You will be responsible for the technical and content-based supervision of environmental technology funding programs, requiring a blend of analytical rigor and strategic thinking. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Management, Geosciences, Biology, Geography, or a comparable scientific field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management
  • Experience in funding projects or the public sector is considered an advantage
