Job Summary
As a Senior Platform Engineer at a leading media-tech company in Berlin, you will manage and evolve a hybrid infrastructure that balances Google Cloud Platform (GCP) managed services with performance-optimized bare-metal servers. You will play a critical role in the 'Services & Operations' team, focusing on stability, scalability, and cost-efficiency without unnecessary abstraction. Your day-to-day work involves automating infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust monitoring across the entire hybrid environment. You will actively contribute to the company's technical direction through an architecture board, collaborating closely with product and data-intelligence teams. This role is ideal for an engineer who values long-term technical knowledge, such as Linux and networking, and prefers practical, sustainable engineering over over-engineering. - Experience with public cloud resources, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience operating CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
- Experience with network architectures in hybrid environments.
