Job Summary
As a Financial Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data landscape, with a primary focus on Power BI development and maintenance (70% of your time). Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing new business reports, optimizing existing databases, and integrating third-party systems. You will also dedicate 20% of your time to SAP FI/CO (HANA) project implementation and support, while providing 10% of your effort to the controlling department, assisting with financial statements, ESG reporting, and budget planning. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in financial data analysis or controlling who enjoys bridging the gap between technical data modeling and financial business requirements. You will be part of a collaborative team in Salzburg, working in an environment that values precision, analytical thinking, and service-oriented problem solving. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik) or a comparable field. Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) is required. SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Finance / Accounting is considered a plus.
Experience
- Professional experience in the financial environment, ideally as a Financial Data Analyst or in Controlling.
- Experience in database development, maintenance, and reporting.
- Experience in project implementation within SAP FI/CO (HANA) environments.
- Experience in supporting financial closing processes and budget preparation.
