Job Summary
As an IT Systems Administrator for the Municipality of Eitorf, you will play a pivotal role in managing the IT infrastructure across the town hall, remote workstations, and local school networks. Your daily responsibilities include system administration, hardware and software lifecycle management, performance monitoring, and incident management. You will serve as the primary point of contact for technical support (First and Second Level), while also driving strategic initiatives like budget planning and security implementations. This role is unique as it blends technical systems management with administrative tasks and participation in public digital infrastructure projects like 'DigitalPakt 2.0'. You will work closely with data protection and security officers to ensure the integrity of municipal data. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent, or a degree in Public Administration (e.g., Bachelor of Laws) combined with significant IT administration experience.
