Job Summary
The Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office (CVUA) Sigmaringen is seeking a Chemical Technical Assistant or Chemical Laboratory Technician for their Mycotoxins department. In this full-time, fixed-term role, you will be responsible for the preparation and homogenization of food samples for mycotoxin analysis. Your day-to-day duties involve processing samples, performing LC-MS/MS and HPLC-FLD measurements using specialized software, managing data within the laboratory information management system (LIMS), and ensuring quality control through regular monitoring and proficiency testing. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical chemistry skills, technical proficiency with IT applications, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in classical analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis
- Experience in LC and LC-MS control and evaluation software
- Experience in food analysis is considered an advantage
