Job Summary

This role involves joining the Hydrology department to maintain and ensure the quality of approximately 12 water level monitoring stations and 130 groundwater monitoring points. You will be responsible for managing the associated communication and measurement technology, processing and validating hydrological time-series data, and contributing to the annual evidence-preservation report. The position requires a mix of office-based data management and consistent field work, often in challenging terrain or during flood events. You will also manage relationships with suppliers, engineering firms, and private station operators, as well as handle procurement and maintenance oversight. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong organizational skills and a commitment to environmental monitoring.
