Job Summary
The Gütersloh District Police Authority is seeking an IT Investigative Support Specialist to join their Criminal Investigation Department. In this role, you will provide critical technical support for criminal investigations, focusing on the forensic preservation of evidence. Your day-to-day responsibilities include securing data from PCs, networks, mobile devices, navigation systems, and various storage media. You will also provide expert advice and training to colleagues. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Science in General and Digital Forensics, or a degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, IT Security, Information and Communication Technology, or a state-certified technician (DQR-Level 6) in Computer Science.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT or digital forensics
- 3 years of relevant professional experience required for applicants with a vocational IT qualification (Fachinformatiker)

- Valid Class B driver's license, physical ability to lift/carry 25kg, willingness to work outside regular business hours, and successful background check (no pending criminal proceedings).
