Job Summary

The Friedrich Miescher Laboratory (FML) of the Max Planck Society is seeking a full-time Biological Technical Assistant to join the Aztekin Lab, which focuses on structural regeneration. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cell cultures and organoids, performing CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, and preparing samples for Next-Generation Sequencing (e.g., scRNA-Seq). You will also conduct standard molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, Western Blotting, and immunofluorescence, while managing laboratory organization, including supply ordering and documentation. This position is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, international research environment. You will play a key role in supporting experimental workflows and training new team members on laboratory protocols.
