This role offers a unique blend of hands-on field work and office-based technical planning within the renewable energy sector. As a Technical Specialist, you will be instrumental in the lifecycle of photovoltaic (PV) projects, from initial site inspections and technical documentation to the installation support and final commissioning of safety systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting on-site training for installers, advising customers, preparing project quotes using modern planning software, and providing practical feedback to support product development. The position is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys variety, as it requires both technical office administration and physical presence on job sites, including working at heights on flat roofs. Education
Completed vocational training in a technical or craft-related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a technical or craft-based trade
- Experience in the field of photovoltaics or mounting systems is considered an advantage
- Experience with planning software or CAD is considered an advantage
- Experience with ERP systems is considered an advantage
