As an Expert for Plant Safety at TÜV SÜD, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and sustainability of industrial infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting industrial systems such as pressure equipment, steam boilers, pipelines, and tank farms in accordance with national and European regulations. You will prepare detailed inspection reports, conduct risk assessments, and perform damage investigations. A key aspect of the role is providing expert consultation to clients on-site, ensuring high standards of safety and long-term professional relationships. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and laboratories while continuously advancing your technical expertise. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in an engineering discipline such as electrical, mechanical, or process engineering
  • Experience or strong interest in working within normatively regulated environments
  • Practical experience in field-based client interactions is highly valued
  • Experience with hazard and risk analysis, including failure mode evaluation

  • Valid Class B driver's license, willingness to travel within the regional operating area, and ability to work on-site at customer locations.
