As a Development Engineer for Magnetic Levitation Systems at Max Bögl, you will play a pivotal role in the innovation and implementation of advanced transport technology. Your daily responsibilities include developing and testing new concepts for magnetic rail systems, creating detailed technical specifications, and managing the documentation of your development work. You will be responsible for the system integration of sub-components and the design of power converter systems, including traction converters and charging units. A key focus is the calculation of power losses, efficiencies, and the thermal load of various components. You will manage pre-development projects independently and in a structured manner. This position is ideal for an engineer or technician with a background in electrical engineering or mechatronics who is passionate about large-scale infrastructure projects. Required Skills

Education

  • Knowledge of rail vehicle systems and industry-specific standards is highly desirable
