Job Summary
As the Technical Director at the Rehabilitation Clinic Ückeritz, you will lead the technical department, overseeing both staff management and operational excellence. Your day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the safety and operational readiness of all technical facilities, managing maintenance and repair projects with external contractors, and handling inventory and stock management. You will play a key role in supporting clinic leadership during organizational change processes and implementing personnel development and health management strategies. This position also involves acting as the Occupational Safety Specialist, ensuring all safety standards are met. The role is unique because it combines high-level leadership with hands-on technical oversight in a specialized medical environment on the Baltic Sea coast. You will be expected to maintain high levels of integrity and reliability, as this is a sensitive position. The role requires flexibility, including availability for on-call duties, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (Energy/Building/Operational Technology) or Plant Mechanic (Sanitary/Heating/Climate Technology). Mandatory Master Craftsman certification (Meister) in Electrical Engineering or Heating/Plumbing. Qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (or willingness to complete training).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in technical building equipment and operational engineering
- Leadership experience in managing technical teams
- Experience in monitoring and coordinating external contractors for maintenance and repairs

- Must provide proof of Measles vaccination. Must be available for on-call duty, weekends, and public holidays. High level of integrity required due to corruption-sensitive nature of the role.
