Job Summary
The City of Neustadt in Holstein is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their municipal building department. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and developing the city's 100 km road and infrastructure network. Your day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the planning, tendering, and supervision of municipal civil engineering projects, such as road construction, drainage, and public facilities. You will work closely with a civil engineer and a road construction specialist, managing smaller projects independently from design to final accounting. Key requirements include a state-certified technician qualification in civil engineering, proficiency in CAD and AVA software, and a solid understanding of German construction regulations like VOB and HOAI. Required Skills
Education
State-certified technician (Staatlich geprüfte:r Techniker:in) in Civil Engineering, Road Construction, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning, tendering, and execution of civil engineering projects
- Experience with technical regulations and standards, specifically VOB and HOAI
- Experience in working with CAD and AVA software for construction projects
