Job Summary
As a Data Engineer at AOK, you will play a pivotal role in the technical development of data products, focusing on implementing interactive visualizations and reports using frontend tools. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing application support (Level 1/2), managing incidents and change requests, and collaborating with business departments to translate requirements into technical specifications. You will be responsible for provisioning data from the Lakehouse, specifically leveraging SAP HANA databases to support reporting needs. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a qualification as an AOK Business Economist (AOK-Betriebswirt) or equivalent.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the design and implementation of data architectures and modern data-driven system landscapes.
- Multi-year experience with HANA SQLScript and general SQL query languages.
- Professional experience in handling large data volumes and developing automated data pipelines.
- Experience with various database systems such as SAP HANA, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with SAP Business Warehouse and development tools like Eclipse and GitLab.
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.
