Job Summary

As a Grant Coordinator for the Wetterau district, you will play a pivotal role in the Finance Department, ensuring the financial and regulatory compliance of various funding programs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing the implementation of state and federal investment programs, coordinating interfaces between the finance department and other specialized units, and preparing statistical reports for management purposes. You will also participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring that all grant processes, guidelines, and project documentation are handled with precision. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in finance or administration, or a completed financial vocational training with relevant professional experience. A certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (Certified Accountant) is considered an asset.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the financial sector of public administration is desirable
  • Experience with funding processes, guidelines, verification of use, and fund requests is an advantage
  • Experience in using modern financial and accounting software
