Job Summary

As a System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of complex system architectures within a military context. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using Enterprise Architect and SysML, strictly adhering to the V-Modell XT framework for safety-critical systems. You will be tasked with analyzing system requirements for feasibility, consistency, and testability, while also managing RAMT (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability) standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and verifying comprehensive system specifications, interface definitions, and architectural models. This position is unique as it offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes, safety-critical defense projects with a clear 19-month project duration and potential for long-term extension or permanent placement. The role is well-suited for professionals with a strong engineering background who thrive in structured, highly regulated technical environments.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a System Engineer
  • Experience in working with safety-critical systems
  • Ideally experience within the defense or military sector
