Job Summary

The University Medicine Rostock is seeking a dedicated Sustainability and Energy Management Specialist to join their Sustainability Management staff unit. In this full-time, permanent role, you will act as an interdisciplinary link between environmental protection, energy efficiency, and organizational development. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve planning and executing sustainability projects, supporting the implementation and maintenance of energy management systems (such as ISO 50001), and performing energy assessments of facilities and processes. You will also be responsible for data analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements like the CSRD, ESRS, and EnEfG. This position is ideal for a structured and analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with internal departments such as Engineering, Controlling, and IT to drive sustainable practices. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Sustainability Management, Energy, Environmental or Supply Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management or project collaboration.
  • Foundational knowledge in energy management, energy efficiency, or environmental management.
  • Experience in the public sector or healthcare industry is considered a plus.
