Job Summary
As a UX Team Lead based in Freiburg, you will be responsible for the disciplinary and professional leadership of a 14-member team consisting of concept, design, and research specialists. Your day-to-day work involves fostering interdisciplinary collaboration between product management and engineering, promoting a user-centric mindset across the organization, and driving the development of design systems. You will act as a coach and mentor, ensuring clear responsibilities and transparent goal setting while synchronizing efforts with the Barcelona office. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who is passionate about both people development and product discovery methods. You will leverage data-driven approaches to ensure the team delivers outstanding customer experiences, while staying at the forefront of UX trends and tooling to continuously improve team performance and methodology.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Design, Media Informatics, Communication Design, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience or proven experience in the professional management of teams
- Professional experience in UX design, concept, or research
- Professional experience in applying product discovery and data-driven methods
- Professional experience in managing and evolving design systems
