Job Summary
As an IT Systems Administrator in the General Computer Science Laboratory, you will play a vital role in supporting the faculty's teaching and research infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the administration and operation of laboratory hardware, such as servers, PCs, smartboards, and printers. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and optimizing software packages for both physical PCs and virtual machine environments. Additionally, you will provide essential user support during laboratory-based teaching sessions and manage the laboratory's budget. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of hands-on technical maintenance, software deployment, and project management.
