Job Summary
As a Software Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and finalization of industrial and building automation projects. Your daily responsibilities include conducting electrical system inspections according to VDE standards, performing troubleshooting, and coordinating on-site teams of up to three colleagues. You will act as a vital bridge between office-based programming teams and on-site execution, managing 1:1 data point testing, drive commissioning, and minor system retrofits. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and thrives in a dynamic environment. The role requires a blend of technical expertise in control systems and strong communication skills to ensure smooth project delivery. You will work primarily on construction sites across Germany, supported by a collaborative team and an established company with over 20 years of experience in the automation sector.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (apprenticeship) in a relevant field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in commissioning within control and regulation engineering.
- Practical experience in construction site environments within the automation sector.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, system optimization, and technical documentation of automation processes.
- Experience in coordinating small teams or specific trade activities like cable pulling or switch cabinet installation.

- Willingness to travel for assembly work (Monday to Thursday). Valid driver's license required for site travel and potential company car usage.
