Job Summary

As a Development Engineer in Electrical Engineering at Brunel, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end lifecycle of electronic assemblies and systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing and constructing electronic circuit boards from the initial concept phase through to series production. You will be tasked with creating schematics, bills of materials, and technical documentation, while also contributing to requirements engineering. A significant portion of your role focuses on testing and validation, where you will develop test concepts and environments, perform commissioning, and provide technical support during the manufacturing phase. You will also manage obsolescence and implement change requests for ongoing projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Experience in testing, validation, and commissioning of electrical assemblies
  • Experience with technical documentation and requirements engineering according to the V-model
